Ray Traced Film & Cinema
reLux is a camera app built for people who prefer the physics of light over fixed digital filters. It processes RAW sensor data with a local ray tracing engine to reproduce depth and highlight roll-off closer to an optical lens.
The film texture is computed from light density, so grain behaves naturally: finer in highlights, deeper in shadows, and more faithful to a 35mm character in both monochrome and color workflows.
Cinematic video follows the same approach with 16-bit components to preserve wide tonal information for post-production and fine color work.
Capture through the logic of light, not the logic of a preset.
